Under the Surface is a series of drawings that uncover the hidden histories of Brisbane. These drawings came about after returning to Brisbane after a number of years away. 

This process of returning brought up questions of reconciling feeling at home in places with traumatic histories. 

Boundary St. is the backdrop to many of my favourite childhood memories but is also a historically significant site representing segregation and cultural dispossession.
